WhatsApp introduced a new feature that allows users to edit their sent messages. Whether it’s fixing a mistake or adding more context, you now have more control over your chats. By long-pressing on a sent message and selecting ‘Edit’ from the menu, you can make changes within fifteen minutes of sending.
The edited messages will indicate that they have been edited, but the edit history will not be displayed. It’s important to note that like all personal messages, the edits and original messages are protected by end-to-end encryption. This feature is gradually rolling out worldwide and will be accessible to all users in the upcoming weeks.
