Samsung is introducing new enhanced Ambient Sound on the Galaxy Buds2 Pro to improve the listening experience for those who are hard of hearing. The feature, previously available at three levels, now offers five levels of amplification, providing improved hearing for more users. Clinical trials conducted by the University of Iowa’s Hearing Aid and Aging Research Laboratory and Samsung Medical Center showed that the Galaxy Buds2 Pro significantly improved speech perception for individuals with mild-to-moderate hearing loss.

Users can customize their Ambient Sound settings, adjusting volumes for each ear and choosing from a range of tones. The Adapt Ambient Sound feature further enhances clarity by tuning to users’ ears. The enhanced Ambient Sound feature will be rolled out gradually through software updates in the coming weeks. Samsung aims to make audio more accessible and inclusive, allowing users to enjoy the sounds of the world around them with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro.
