LG Electronics has introduced the LG StanbyME Go, a portable screen product designed for easy transportation. The all-in-one design resembles a suitcase, complete with a screen, stand, and speaker. It features a handle for convenient carrying and compartments to hold accessories such as a remote control and power cable. The device is equipped with a built-in battery, providing up to three hours of usage without a power source.
The LG StanbyME Go has passed 11 durability tests conducted by the U.S. Department of Defense, ensuring its resilience against various environmental factors such as low pressure, high and low temperatures, dust, vibration, salt spray, shock, and drops. The screen can be turned on and off simply by opening and closing the case, without the need for any assembly or installation. It is a 27-inch touchscreen that can be tilted up to 90 degrees, rotated clockwise to 90 degrees, and adjusted in height within an 18-centimeter range. Users have the flexibility to choose horizontal or vertical orientation or utilize it in table mode.
With a 20-watt speaker that adapts to the screen mode, the LG StanbyME Go delivers optimal sound to the front. It supports Dolby Vision video technology and Dolby Atmos stereo sound. The device also offers convenient features like webOS, which supports AirPlay and screen mirroring for easy sharing with iOS and Android devices. Voice recognition enables hands-free control, allowing users to change channels or search for content without manual input.
The LG StanbyME Go will be available through both online and offline channels, with the initial launch taking place during a live broadcast of the “Ella Show” on LG’s Online Brand Shop (OBS) on the 7th of the following month. The starting price is set at 1.17 million won. With its portable design, durability, versatile orientation options, and convenience features like voice recognition, the LG StanbyME Go provides a flexible and user-friendly solution for portable screens, catering to various needs and environments.
