DISH 5G Network is Now Available to Over 70 Percent of the U.S. Population

DISH Wireless has reached a significant milestone by offering 5G broadband service to over 70% of the U.S. population, granting access to advanced connectivity technology for more than 240 million Americans. In just three years, DISH designed, built, and deployed a pioneering 5G network, meeting its FCC commitments, including launching over 15,000 5G sites. DISH has also become the first wireless service provider in the U.S. to introduce 5G voice service, known as voice over new radio (VoNR).

The VoNR service is now available in multiple markets, covering over 70 million people through Boost Mobile and Boost Infinite. As a leader in Open RAN technology, DISH is driving the transformation of the wireless infrastructure and aims to monetize its network through retail and enterprise growth. Customers can access the DISH 5G broadband network through Project Genesis, and Boost Mobile and Boost Infinite subscribers can utilize the DISH 5G network in various markets. DISH’s network expansion and availability of compatible devices will continue throughout the year.
